Trick or Treat!

Awwwwwe - love those sweet babies!  :)  Happy Halloween from Ms. Ruin and Through These Eyes Visual Art!

The biggest treat this Halloween was that the pumpkin that my team at work won best decorated pumpkin!  Woo hoo!  Our prize is a pizza party.  I don't care about that.  I just wanted to win.

Our theme was The Wizard of Oz but instead of the Emerald City, we had an Emerald Pumpkin!  Pictures below...

Fun with Filters

I've been playing with various actions on photoshop elements.  I still have sooooo much to learn about photoshop, I know very little.  But thanks to some insight from friends Chera Thompson-Meyers and Haylie Thompson, I am maneuvering my way around a bit more comfortably.  Here is a look at the Storybook Vintage filter --it's so versatile.  I love it and can't wait to use it in a lot of my outdoor photography.

Almost Bare

This is a look you don't see from me often.  I am practically bare.  Sometimes I just need a break from 4 shadows, two eyeliners, etc.  On this day:  doublewear powder by Estee Lauder in Sand, Bad Girl Lash mascara by Benefit and pomegranate chapstick by Burt's Bees.

Jack & Jacob

WARNING:
Prepare yourself for total cuteness.

This weekend I had the opportunity to photograph one of my best friends’ twin boys.  The first time I photographed them they were only a few weeks old, but on this day they were 4 months old!  And as you can see, they did great!  In this picture, proud mommy Rachael holds little man Jacob.

This is Jack --he took a break from eating his shirt and I was able to capture this gorgeous shot.

How adorable is this picture --Jacob started to yawn and Jack followed.  It was perfect!

I can just stare at those sweet faces all day long!  They were both still trying to wake up from their morning nap.  Grandma Cook had their attention.

Sweet smile!  This is Jack taking his morning nap.  I wonder what he was dreaming about?  Something or someone had him smiling in his sleep.  :)

Trick or Treat!  This is Jack and Jacob's first Halloween!  Jack is a monkey and Jacob is a lion.  Rawr!

Hope you enjoyed these pics.  For more Jack & Jacob, vist my photography page:  Through These Eyes.
